Flower Power Meets Country Spirit: Bloom Culture Returns to Fleurs de Villes 2025
We’re excited to share that Bloom Culture is once again taking part in Fleurs de Villes Calgary, returning for our second year at this internationally recognized flower show, hosted during the Calgary Stampede at the BMO Centre.
Each year, Fleurs de Villes pairs top local floral designers with iconic personalities, challenging them to create custom floral mannequins made entirely from fresh flowers and natural materials. This summer, we’ve been matched with Kacey Musgraves as our floral muse. Known for her fearless creativity and vibrant style, Kacey is inspiring our team to design something bold, detailed, and full of personality.
Our concept is currently in development, and we’re working behind the scenes to bring it to life. Every element of the display will be handcrafted from live blooms and botanicals. The final installation will be on view during Stampede Week as part of one of the most visited Calgary floral events of the summer.
Looking Back at 2024
Last year marked our debut at Fleurs de Villes Calgary. We created a mannequin inspired by Canadian country artist Lindsay Ell, which earned third place in the Fan Favourite category. The support from our community was incredible. Even better, Lindsay was in town for a performance and stopped by the exhibit. She shared her delight in seeing the tribute in person, which made the experience unforgettable.
Being recognized in a room full of extraordinary floral designers was an honour, and we’re excited to return with even more vision and energy in 2025.
Volunteer Opportunities
Large-scale flower installations like this one take time, teamwork, and a lot of hands-on effort. We’re currently welcoming volunteers to help in the weeks leading up to the event and during setup on Wednesday, July 3, at the BMO Centre.

About Fleurs de Villes
Founded in 2016, Fleurs de Villes is an international flower show that celebrates floral artistry through large-scale public installations. Events are held in cities across Canada, the U.S., the U.K., and Australia, and feature custom floral mannequins, flower walls, and immersive botanical experiences created by local designers.
In Calgary, the show is part of the Calgary Stampede and is held at the BMO Centre. Thousands of visitors walk through each year, making it one of the most unique and well-loved floral events in the city.
