Temporary Seasonal Gardeners

  • We are seeking a motivated and reliable Temporary Seasonal Garden Assistant to join our team during the peak growing season. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a passion for plants and gardening, and is ready to contribute to the successful growth and maintenance of our garden spaces. As a Garden Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team with garden clean-ups, planting, general maintenance, and small installations.

    Early riser? Perfect! We start at 7:00 am (weather dependent)

    Reliable transportation required.

Lead Gardener

  • We're looking for a Garden Crew Leader to lead a team in providing high-quality garden maintenance and installations. You'll assess gardens, make design decisions, and oversee tasks like planting, pruning, clean-ups, and seasonal container designs. You'll also train team members, maintain client relationships, and ensure projects are completed on time.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • 3+ years in professional gardening or horticulture, with leadership experience.

    • Strong plant knowledge, design sense, and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to lead a team, manage schedules, and communicate with clients and managers.

    • Physically fit for outdoor work in all weather conditions.

    • A valid driver’s license (Class 5) and ability to drive a trailer are assets.

  • Full Time - 35 to 50 hours per week

    (More hours required during peak periods)

  • Seasonal for 2025 and/or Long term

    *We are looking for a career minded individual to grow with us. The season ends at the end of November however we offer the potential for growth / long term position for the right candidate.

    • 2-3 Years professional gardening experience

Floral Lead

  • This is not a high-volume flower shop role.

    Bloom Culture is a design-driven garden and floral studio working across outdoor spaces, indoor plants, and seasonal florals. Our floral division is a smaller but growing part of the business, and we’re looking for someone to take ownership of it day to day.

    This role is for someone who:

    • wants creative control without full-time studio demands

    • is comfortable working in a small, hands-on team

    • can make decisions, manage details, and keep things moving

    • has an entrepreneurial mindset and sees opportunities to improve and grow a department

    You will be responsible for:

    • floral ordering, inventory, and production flow

    • managing online orders and scheduling

    • leading day-to-day floral work with the team

    • maintaining design consistency

    • improving systems and workflow

    • supporting occasional small weddings and events

    You will also have the opportunity to influence how the floral division evolves, including workflow, product offering, and day-to-day operations.

    This is a one-year maternity leave contract, with the potential for the role to continue as the business grows and the floral division evolves.

  • Part- time: 10-20 hrs/wk

    $25 - $28/hr based on experience.

    • Additional hours available during peak holiday seasons

    • Opportuniy to facilitate floral workshops if aligned

  • This role is best suited to someone who is both creative and operational. You need to be comfortable making decisions, managing details, and improving how things work.

    We are a small team. This role requires someone who is comfortable working independently, stepping into different tasks, and keeping things moving without heavy structure.

    • Professional experience in floral design (retail and/or events)

    • Confidence working independently and making clear decisions

    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • Tech savvy and comfortable working within digital systems

    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on efficiency, margin, and growth

    • Willingness to lead when needed and support the team where required

    This is a working lead role. You will design, direct, and problem-solve in real time.
