Temporary Seasonal Gardeners

  • We are seeking a motivated and reliable Temporary Seasonal Garden Assistant to join our team during the peak growing season. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a passion for plants and gardening, and is ready to contribute to the successful growth and maintenance of our garden spaces. As a Garden Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team with garden clean-ups, planting, general maintenance, and small installations.

    Early riser? Perfect! We start at 7:00 am (weather dependent)

    Reliable transportation required.

Lead Gardener

  • We're looking for a Garden Crew Leader to lead a team in providing high-quality garden maintenance and installations. You'll assess gardens, make design decisions, and oversee tasks like planting, pruning, clean-ups, and seasonal container designs. You'll also train team members, maintain client relationships, and ensure projects are completed on time.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • 3+ years in professional gardening or horticulture, with leadership experience.

    • Strong plant knowledge, design sense, and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to lead a team, manage schedules, and communicate with clients and managers.

    • Physically fit for outdoor work in all weather conditions.

    • A valid driver’s license (Class 5) and ability to drive a trailer are assets.

  • Full Time - 35 to 50 hours per week

    (More hours required during peak periods)

  • Seasonal for 2025 and/or Long term

    *We are looking for a career minded individual to grow with us. The season ends at the end of November however we offer the potential for growth / long term position for the right candidate.

    • 2-3 Years professional gardening experience

    • Strong plant identification skills

Casual Floral Workshop Facilitator

  • Bloom Culture is a Calgary design studio working across gardens, florals, plants, and seasonal experiences.

    We’re looking for a Casual Floral Workshop Facilitator to join us as an independent contractor and lead engaging hands-on workshops in our studio and at occasional off-site events.

    This is a casual, as-needed contract position with hours based on seasonal demand and workshop bookings. Evening and weekend availability is required.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead floral workshops such as bouquets, centrepieces, wreaths, and seasonal designs

    • Guide guests step by step in a warm, approachable way

    • Prepare flowers, tools, and materials

    • Help manage workshop flow, setup, cleanup, and reset

    • Create a welcoming experience that reflects the Bloom Culture brand

  • Casual - Indepedent Contractor

    $20–25/hour based on experience.

  • Casual, as needed. Seasonal fluctations.

Casual Floral Assistant/Designer

  • Bloom Culture is a Calgary design studio working across florals, gardens, plants, and seasonal design.

    We’re looking for a Casual Floral Assistant to support day-to-day floral production, studio tasks, and retail support during busy periods and seasonal demand.

    This is a casual, on-call position with weekday daytime hours and weekend availability as needed. Hours may vary week to week.

    What You’ll Do

    • Assist with floral processing and preparation

    • Support daily floral production and order fulfillment

    • Help maintain studio cleanliness and organization

    • Assist customers in the studio as needed

    • Support holiday rushes, events, workshops, and busy floral periods

    • Help with deliveries, packaging, and general studio support

  • Casual

    $18 - $21/hr based on experience.

    • Additional hours available during peak holiday seasons

    • Opportuniy to facilitate floral workshops if aligned

  • Casual, as needed. Seasonal fluctations where hours may vary week to week.

    • Previous floral experience required
