Pets in Bloom: A Portrait Day with Purpose
Saturday, September 27, 2025 10am to 3pm
If your pet is part of the family, this day is for you!
Pets in Bloom is a one-day studio event hosted by Bloom Culture in collaboration with Barking Mad Photography and the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF).
It’s a day to celebrate the animals who have walked with us, waited for us, or comforted us when we needed it most. It’s also a way to support those still looking for a place to call home.
What’s Happening in the Studio:
Pet Portrait Sessions
Capture a professional portrait of your pet with Barking Mad Photography in a fall-inspired studio setting. Floral collars and crowns by Bloom Culture will be available for use during the shoot.
Sessions are $40 and must be booked in advance. Limited spots available.
A portion of each session fee supports ARF’s rescue efforts.
Seasonal Bouquets
Fresh, fall-inspired bouquets will be available in the studio. Whether you're celebrating your pet or just love having flowers at home, every bouquet supports a good cause. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to ARF.
Meet the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF)
ARF has been rescuing and rehoming animals across Alberta for over 25 years. On event day, their team will be in the studio to share information about adoption and fostering.
They’ll also have surprise pet bags for sale, and a few adoptable animals may be stopping by to say hello.
For the Lifers, the Newbies, and Everyone in Between
Some pets are adopted. Others are found.
Some have been part of the family for years. Others are just learning what love feels like.
Some come in tail-first with zoomies. Others with quiet eyes and cautious steps.
Pets in Bloom is for all of them. It’s a way to celebrate the love already in our lives while helping create space for the animals still waiting to be chosen.
There’s no pressure to do anything big.
Come for the portraits. Come for the flowers. Or just come to support a good cause and a few good pets.
You're invited.
