Moss walls and installations
Interior features built using preserved natural material.
Designed for homes, workplaces, and shared spaces across Calgary.
Structure and depth for interior spaces
Moss installations introduce texture, contrast, and visual weight without relying on light or ongoing care.
Each piece is designed specifically for the space, so it feels integrated and continues to hold its presence over time.
Designed for the space
We don’t install standard panels.
Each installation is developed specifically for the space, with attention to scale, proportion, layout, and surrounding materials.
This is design work, not product installation.
The result is work that feels built into the space, not added after.
When moss is the better option
Moss installations are often used where living plants are difficult to maintain.
This includes:
Low-light environments
High-traffic spaces
Areas without consistent care
Feature walls requiring long-term consistency
In these cases, moss provides a stable, low-maintenance alternative with a strong visual impact.
Low maintenance by design
Preserved moss requires:
• no watering
• no sunlight
• minimal upkeep
It’s designed to hold its structure and appearance over time without ongoing care.

FAQs
-
You don’t. Each of our moss wall pieces are fully preserved, requiring no light or water.
-
All of our natural materials are preserved without the use of chemicals. Natural oils that mimic the water in the plant and food dyes that maintain color, result in a live and vibrant appearance for years to come.
-
Most art pieces generally last 7-10 years before some elements need updating or changing. As we live in a very dry climate, some of the preserved plants (such as ferns) may need to be changed out after a few years. You can expect the preserved mosses to last 8+ years and the preserved folia to last 5+ years.
-
A hair dryer set on a cool setting or a can of compressed air (found at major electronic retailers) works well to remove any dust that may eventually settle on your art piece. Make sure to avoid direct and heavy contact; stand a few inches away when spraying down. Do this every 6 to 12 months based on need.
-
When you factor in the cost of design, transportation, installation, and upkeep, choosing a moss wall over a living wall can save you upwards of 30-40%. It is important to recognize that moss walls need to be installed away from direct sunlight, major heating or air conditioning vents, as well as extremely dry environments; some humidity is required to keep them looking their best.
