Setup & Installation

Do I need my own containers?

Yes — our subscriptions are designed to work with your existing containers. If you don’t have any yet, we’re happy to help you find the right fit. We carry a selection of styles in stock and can also special order containers that suit your space and aesthetic.

What’s the difference between Simple and Deluxe packages?
Both options feature thoughtfully designed, seasonal arrangements created to suit your containers and space. The Simple package offers a beautiful, classic look using fresh, high-quality materials. The Deluxe package takes things a step further with added fullness, premium greenery, faux accents for longer-lasting style, and more intricate detailing.

In summer, Deluxe designs often feature rare or specialty plants that give your containers an elevated, one-of-a-kind look

How long does an installation take?
Timing can vary depending on how much prep work we’re able to do in our studio beforehand. Some installations are a quick swap-out, while others require more on-site time to get everything just right.

Do I need to be home during installation?
No. As long as we have access to your containers or entryway, we can complete the installation without you being onsite.

Do you remove the previous season’s arrangement?
If you’re on a 4-season subscription, yes — removal and disposal are included as part of our full-service program.
If you’re on a 2-season subscription, clean-outs are not included, but we’re happy to handle them for you at an additional cost.

What sizes of containers do you work with?
Our pricing is based on container opening size, generally up to 21 inches. For larger containers, please contact us for a personalized quote.

Plants, Design & Care

What kind of plants are used?
In the summer, we use living plants that thrive outdoors and require regular care and watering. For the other seasons, we design with a mix of fresh seasonal greens, branches, florals, and durable faux accents chosen to suit Calgary’s climate. Each season has its own distinct look and palette.

Does sun, shade, or exposure affect my subscription?
Yes. Sun, shade, wind, and shelter all play a role in plant health and longevity. We’re happy to advise on the best choices for your conditions.

How do I care for my arrangement?
Summer arrangements need a little extra love — regular watering and care help them thrive. The rest of the year is effortless, with no watering or upkeep needed. If you’d rather leave the summer care to us, we offer maintenance services for an additional cost.

Do I need to water my containers?
Summer plantings require regular watering.

What happens if the plants die?
Plant health depends on weather, care, and conditions. While we can’t guarantee against extreme heat, frost, or missed watering, we design for resilience and can provide care instructions to help your arrangements thrive.

Design & Customization

Can I choose my own designs?
Subscriptions are created with our Simple, Deluxe, or Custom options. Custom designs can be tailored to your preferences or to a seasonal theme. We take preferences into consideration for all subscriptions. Please inquire for pricing.

Can I upgrade one installation?
Yes. If you’d like to elevate a specific season for an event or holiday, you can request an upgrade for that installation.

I’m hosting an event. Can you design something special?
Yes. Let us know in advance and we can create a statement container or wreath for your event.

What is the Custom Summer Container Program?
It’s our option for clients who want something truly their own. You choose your palette or style, and we work with growers to start your plants early so they’re ready to thrive in your containers.

Do I need to plan ahead for custom summer containers?
Yes. Orders must be placed by early November each year so we can reserve plants with our growers. Booking early ensures the best results and guarantees availability.

Can I choose exactly which plants go into my summer containers?
We’ll guide you based on your preferences and what thrives in Calgary’s climate. While we can’t promise every variety, we do tailor each custom order to reflect your requested look and feel.

Does the Custom Summer Program cost more?
Yes. Custom growing is a premium service. Pricing varies depending on selections and container size. We’ll provide a quote once we know your preferences.

Can businesses use the Custom Summer Program?
Absolutely. Many of our commercial and community clients choose custom summer containers to align with their brand colors or create show-stopping displays.

Commercial & Community Clients

Do you service commercial or multi-residential properties?
Yes. We design and maintain seasonal containers for storefronts, hospitality, offices, and shared outdoor spaces. For larger or multi-location projects, please contact us directly.

Can you coordinate installations across multiple locations?
Yes. We work with businesses and property managers to keep containers consistent across sites.

Do you provide ongoing maintenance?
Yes. Maintenance packages are available for watering, pruning, and touch-ups between seasonal installs.

Gifting & Payments

Can I gift a subscription?
Yes. A container or wreath subscription makes a thoughtful ongoing gift. We can arrange delivery and presentation to suit the occasion.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We typically invoice after each season’s installation. Some people prefer to pay up front.

Weather & Timing

When are installations scheduled?

  • Spring: late March to mid-April

  • Summer: late May to mid-June

  • Autumn: mid to late September

  • Winter: late November to mid-December

What happens if the weather is extreme?
If conditions delay installation, we’ll adjust timing to ensure your containers are styled with the freshest and most suitable materials.
